Intruder Alarm Engineer

Intruder Alarm Engineer – Coventry based, covering the Midlands
Status Alarms Ltd is required looking for qualified and experienced Intruder Alarm Engineer for a major new contract in Coventry. The Intruder Alarm Engineer is required with experience of a variety of systems. The ideal candidate must be fully qualified to IFEDA / FETA / FIA standard and current certificate essential.
Your duties will mainly consist of servicing, installing & maintaining Security systems, although you may have to work on Fire, Access Control and CCTV systems for a range of different customers. You will need have knowledge of the following Alarms panels but not limited too; Morley, Notifier, Kentec & Galaxy, Gent, Haes, Precept, Bardic & Minerva.
You will carry out routine maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs working to BS7671 & BS5839 standards. Educated holding City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Electrical Engineering along with 17th Edition certification would be advantageous.
You will need strong communication & excellent problem solving skills, as you will regularly deal with client facing situations Due to the sensitivity of the site the candidate must be able to pass an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check (CRB) and have excellent written and spoken English and a commitment to good customer service. You must also have a full clean drivers licence.

CCTV Engineer – Coventry based, covering the Midlands
Status Alarms Ltd is required looking for qualified and experienced CCTV Engineer for a major new contract. The CCTV Engineer is required with experience of a variety of systems, cameras and recording equipment. The ideal candidate must experienced as we are not able to take on a trainee in this role.
Your duties will mainly consist of servicing, installing & maintaining CCTV systems, both analogue and digital. Experienced in DVR’s & NVR’s and digital software systems, although you may have to work on Fire, Access Control and CCTV systems for a range of different customers. You will need have knowledge of a variety of cameras, both fixed and mobile.
You will carry out routine maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs working to BS7671 & BS5839 standards. Educated holding City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Electrical Engineering along with 17th Edition certification would be advantageous.
